In the year 2010 and 2011 there was a shortage of secondary schools within Elburgon Division, hence the need to start a secondary school within the environs of PCEA Primary to absorb standard 8 leavers from within and neighborhood schools.

Parents of PCEA Primary school through the SMC approached the sponsor(PCEA CHURCH) to donate an old church building where the headteacher would admit form one.

The church under the leadership of Rev.Kogo accepted to donate the building and three acres of land to the community.

In February 2011,50 students were admitted. The first and current Principal reported to the school in may 2011.This was after provisional registration by the ministry was given.

In 2013,the school was assessed and given full registration .

Currently the school has 6 permanent classes built through LATIF,CDF,Parents contributions ,and other sponsors.

The school is also endowed with a semi-permanent kitchen,Girls toilet block(10 doors),Boys block(5 doors),Urinal,Staff toilet and a well for water supply.

The school has presented candidates for KCSE three times (2014,2015 and 2016).
